Linotype Machinist's Work Bench

Quality construction, cabinet has working space and accommodations for storage of matrices, tools and miscellaneous parts.

Hard maple working surfce measures 26x70 inches, 1¾ inches thick, and projects at sides and front vise may be attached. The backboard is 15 inches high, and is fitted with looped strap for holding tools. Above backboard is steel shelf 8 inches deep with 1-inch rim.

Monotype Machinist's Work Bench

This bench was carefully planned with full consideration for the needs of the monotype machinist. The various units systematically and conveniently arranges, and was easily accessible. The convenience this bench provides enables the machinist to make changes and repairs quickly.

Top of bench is made of hard maple with oil finish. It measures 82x32¾ inches, and is 1¾ inches thick. The top projects at sides and front to provide ample standing space. Projection also permits a vise to be attached to top.

Floor space required, 82x32¾ inches. Height to working surface, 34 inches.
